I am a Claremont, California, artist who creates art rubbings of manhole covers that showcase different regional designs from the 1860s through the mid 1950s. My goal is to document industrial design through art with a window into history and to recognize the now anonymous original designers. I focus on vintage covers with a connection to a time and/or place that are at risk of vanishing.
